A Nigerian woman has gone viral after revealing why she walked away from her marriage to Papa Cecilia, who recently accused her of being ungrateful for not giving him part of her salary despite sponsoring her education. “I thought I was in love,” she began, explaining how she married her husband just two months after meeting him—despite warnings from friends.

The woman, a mother of three daughters, shared how her husband initially forbade her from working, claiming he could provide for the family. But after the birth of their third child, he began blaming her for not having a son. He disappeared for days, left her and the children hungry, and forced her to beg neighbors just to survive.

“I became a beggar, doing chores for neighbors just to feed my kids,” she recalled.
