Falz Blasts President Tinubu: “Your Routine Statements Don’t Cut It”

Falz drop bombshell, Reveals VeryDarkMan was very Aggressive on the Phone

Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has called out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his handling of the recent horrific massacre in Benue State, where over 200 people were reportedly killed and burned alive.

In a powerful and emotional message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Falz didn’t hold back. Reacting to the President’s statement addressing the tragedy, he wrote:

“You have consistently shown that you are incapable of performing the primary duty of securing lives and property of your citizens. This routine statement does not cut it.”

Falz, known for his bold voice on national issues, expressed deep frustration over what he sees as a lack of real action from the government. In a follow-up post, he also condemned the silence and lack of national outrage following the mass killing:

“Over 200 senselessly slain and burnt alive in Benue and this is not even getting close to enough attention. Why are we so wicked to ourselves?”

The rapper has built a reputation not just for his music, but for using his platform to speak up for justice and accountability—most notably during the #EndSARS movement. His latest remarks reflect growing anger among Nigerians who feel abandoned in the face of increasing insecurity and government inaction.

Falz’s voice adds to the growing chorus demanding more than just words from the nation’s leaders. As insecurity continues to claim lives across the country, Nigerians are left asking: when will the government finally act with urgency?
