“Israel Is Powerless Without U.S. Backing” – Iran Warns America Over Growing Involvement in Conflict

Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, Iran has directly accused the United States of fueling Israeli aggression, warning that any deeper involvement could trigger a direct response from Tehran.

Following a series of unprecedented Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear and missile sites—which reportedly resulted in the deaths of senior Iranian military officials and scientists—Iran’s representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Ali Bahreini, issued a stern message to Washington during a press briefing in Geneva.

According to Anadolu Agency, Bahreini declared that Iran is closely monitoring comments made by U.S. officials, including former President Donald Trump, and considers them “irresponsible.” He stated unequivocally that “Israel, without the United States, is nothing. Whatever Israel is doing is with the military and intelligence support of the United States.”

At this point in the ongoing crisis, Iran is laying down clear red lines. If Tehran determines that the United States is directly involved in any military action on Iranian soil, the ambassador confirmed that Iran will not hesitate to respond accordingly.

Continuing, Bahreini emphasized that any Iranian retaliation would remain within the bounds of international law, but would be “proportionate and firm.” He framed the conflict as part of a broader four-decade standoff between Iran and the United States, rooted in Tehran’s rejection of what it sees as Washington’s “arrogant foreign policy.”

He concluded by reiterating Iran’s right to defend its sovereignty and warned that any miscalculation by Israel or its allies could ignite a larger confrontation with consequences beyond the region.
