Man Accuses Ex-Girlfriend of Using Him to Raise Another Man’s Children, Demands Sole Custody of His Daughter
A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share his side of a deeply emotional and controversial breakup—accusing his ex-girlfriend of using him to raise children that aren’t his, and now demanding sole custody of their biological daughter.
According to him, he met the woman in 2022. She disclosed early on that she had twin daughters from a previous relationship, but assured him that the girls lived in the village with her mother while she worked in the city as a nurse.
“I told her clearly from the beginning—your kids should not be part of our relationship. She agreed,” he said.
Eight months later, she became pregnant with his child. But tragedy struck: the woman’s mother passed away when she was seven months pregnant, forcing the twins to move in with their mother permanently.
That’s when the conflict began.
“I asked her to take the twins to their real father. She refused. She said he denied the pregnancy years ago and is now married with his own family.”
The man says he felt trapped—forced into a role he never signed up for.
“I tried to manage it, but I couldn’t. I felt disrespected and used. I never wanted anything to do with those children. She tricked me.”
He eventually walked away from the relationship and has since remarried. But he says he’s now fighting to gain full custody of the child they had together, claiming that his financial support is being used to take care of her other children.
“She’s feeding her other kids with my money. If she thinks I’ll continue acting like father to another man’s children, she’s joking.”
He insists that his daughter should be raised separately—by him and his new wife—away from her half-siblings.
As of now, the woman in question has not issued a public response.
What Do You Think?
Is it fair for a man to date or father a child with a single mom—then reject her children afterward?
And is he right to demand custody just because he doesn’t want his daughter raised with her older siblings?
