My daughter is just 15. Quiet, smart, and always top of her class. I never thought I’d be the kind of mother sitting in front of a pregnancy test, shaking and crying while my child says, “It was Mr. Daniel, our Civic Education teacher.”

At first, I thought she was lying. But when I confronted her calmly, she broke down and told me everything.

He had been giving her special attention. Staying after school to “coach” her. Sending her money for lunch. Telling her she was “more mature than the other girls.” Then one day after extra lessons, it happened.
