“I Want More Kids With Nelly” – Ashanti reveals

Power couple Ashanti and Nelly made an appearance on Good Day New York to promote their new reality series, We Belong Together, which officially premieres today, June 26, on Peacock.

During their chat, the duo opened up about plans to expand their family. When asked about having more children, Nelly joked, “I don’t know…it ain’t like we ain’t been trying.”

Ashanti chimed in with a smile, “We’re practicing is the word, but we definitely want to expand. I want more kids.”

Beyond their growing family, the couple also shared their hopes for what viewers will take away from the new show.

Nelly explained;

“Hopefully you know, inspirational, motivation…a little bit of everything isn’t so bad. Today, things just seem so not in a great place sometimes, and just try to stay positive. Hopefully, positivity can help all of us see things in a better way.”
