“He Beat Me to Make Me Uglier” – Makhadzi Opens Up in Shocking Revelation

South African music sensation Makhadzi has left fans reeling after sharing deeply disturbing details of abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. In a now-deleted Facebook post, the Ghanama hitmaker — real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona — revealed that her once-loving relationship turned into a nightmare marked by fear, violence, and threats.

According to NewsVista reporters, Makhadzi shared a heartbreaking video along with photos showing bruises and a visible scar on her forehead. In the footage, she emotionally recounts the abuse, saying, “I was beaten like a dog. When I asked him why, he said it was to make me uglier.”

Although she did not mention any names, the award-winning singer claimed the physical assaults were frequent and terrifying. One of the most chilling moments in her posts described a brutal attack on Christmas Day. “I was beaten like a chicken on Christmas Day,” she wrote, adding that the violence escalated to the point where her life was threatened.

In her emotional outpouring, Makhadzi alleged that her ex-boyfriend warned her not to release her upcoming album, threatening to kill her if she went ahead with it. “Just say RIP now, because I know I’m revealing too much,” she wrote, referencing the secrets hidden in her album, #OneWomanStanding. She hinted that the project might be her last, describing it as a risky but necessary act of truth-telling.

Although the original posts have since been deleted, Makhadzi stated she removed them only to avoid getting blocked by the platform, not because the allegations were untrue.

Her statements have sparked an outpouring of reactions online. While many fans have expressed concern, sympathy, and support, others have questioned the timing, suggesting the revelations might be linked to promoting her new album.

As of the time this report was filed, NewsVista can confirm that the identity of the alleged abuser has not been disclosed.
