Chidi Odinkalu Reacts To Nyesom Wike’s Comments That His Father Was Manager Of Many Companies

Former chairman of the national human rights commission and renowned human rights lawyer, Chidi Odinkalu recently reacted after the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike disclosed that his father was a manager of a lot of companies. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he raised many questions regarding the former governor’s comments.The former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike caused a stir after he disclosed during a highly monitored interview on ChannelsTv that his father was the manager of many companies across the state.

This came after he boldly claimed ownership of a Rolls Royce vehicle amid the verbal confrontations between him and his predecessor, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, also a former minister for transportation.

Unimpressed by his antics, Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights lawyer and a known vocal critic of the former governor in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, criticized him for his comments.

According to Chidi Odinkalu, Nyesom Wike making the bold claim that his father was a manager of so many companies indicted him of being under the influence of alcohol.

“Who said this, To whom, On what condition, In what condition of drunkenness?” He rhetorically asked.
