2027 Warning: “Defections Won’t Save Tinubu” – Primate Ayodele Issues Strong Prophecy

According to a NewsVista reporter, Primate Elijah Ayodele has sounded a prophetic alarm to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), warning that the wave of defections to the ruling party is no guarantee of victory in the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking during the unveiling of his annual prophecy book, Warnings to the Nations, the influential Lagos-based cleric cautioned Tinubu against celebrating too early. He stated that the recent defections of governors and lawmakers from PDP and Labour Party into the APC should not be mistaken for true political strength.

“Many of these politicians are only deceiving the President,” Ayodele said. “The APC may appear strong now, but that doesn’t mean success in 2027. They are ignoring key warning signs — and when defeat comes, it might be too late to react.”

The cleric emphasized that critical issues like insecurity, economic hardship, rising ethnic tensions, and youth dissatisfaction could turn public opinion sharply against the Tinubu-led government, regardless of how many leaders switch camps.

Despite major defections in states like Delta and Akwa Ibom, where entire political structures have moved to the APC, Ayodele insists the real battle for 2027 will be fought on deeper issues — not party numbers.

He concluded by urging the president to face reality and not be swayed by appearances: “Forces are gathering. If Tinubu doesn’t act, he may be shocked at the outcome.”
