Buhari Speaks Out amid Claims of Being at War with Tinubu, APC: “We Are Not Disturbed”

According to a NewsVista report, former President Muhammadu Buhari has responded to speculations of a fallout with his successor, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating clearly that no formal disagreement exists between the two leaders.

In a recent interview, Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, dismissed rumours of tension, describing them as mere speculation fueled by outsiders. He emphasized that the former president remains firmly loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC)—the same party that brought him to power in 2015.

Shehu noted that Buhari has repeatedly expressed gratitude to the APC and has vowed never to betray it. He added that Buhari and his camp are not bothered by political commentary or media noise, and remain focused on their legacy and loyalty.

Reflecting on the formation of the APC back in 2014, Shehu reminded Nigerians of the sacrifices made to build the party, stressing that those who helped create it are unlikely to destroy it.

On a related note, NewsVista also gathered that the former president is currently receiving medical treatment in the United Kingdom after a recent illness. Shehu assured the public that Buhari is recovering well and in stable condition.
