The Pastor Told My Wife Her Womb Was Locked Because She Married the Wrong Man — Now She’s Asking for Divorce
I never believed a single pastor could break a whole marriage — until it happened to me.
My wife and I have been married for five years without a child. We’ve tried hospitals, herbal remedies, and prayers. But nothing prepared me for what came next.
She started attending a new church her friend introduced her to. Within weeks, she became obsessed — night vigils, fasting, and “private deliverance” sessions with the pastor.
Then one night, she sat me down and said:
“Pastor said my womb is spiritually locked because I married the wrong man. He said you were never destined to be my husband.”
I laughed at first. I thought it was a joke. But she was dead serious.
She told me the pastor “saw it clearly” during prayer, and the only way to be free and bear children was to divorce me and “reset her destiny.”
I begged her to think. Reminded her of our love, our struggles, our vows. But her mind was made up.
This same woman I built with from nothing now sees me as a curse — all because of one man in a white collar with a fake prophecy.
Now she’s moved out, and I sleep alone — heartbroken and humiliated.
Religion is no longer just a belief. In Nigeria, it’s destroying homes.
