I Found a Diaper in My Husband’s Car — But We Don’t Have a Baby Yet

We’ve been married for just over a year. Still waiting on a child, still praying, still hoping. So imagine my confusion when I found a baby’s diaper in my husband’s car — not a pack — just one, used and wrapped in a black nylon.

At first, I thought maybe it was from a friend or colleague. But when I opened the glove compartment, I saw a feeding bottle and a tiny pair of baby socks. I froze.

We don’t have a child. I’ve never been pregnant. So where was all this coming from?

I confronted him that night. He acted surprised. Said maybe one of his friends borrowed the car.

But something told me to dig deeper.

I waited two weeks. Followed him one Saturday. He drove to a quiet estate on the outskirts of town. I watched from afar. A lady came out…carrying a baby. He kissed the child, played with him like a father would — and even changed the baby’s diaper in the car.

I couldn’t breathe.

The lady looked like someone I’ve seen before — a receptionist from his old office. I later confirmed she gave birth 9 months ago… exactly 2 months before our wedding.

So all this time, he’s been pretending to pray with me for a child — while secretly fathering one outside. I feel played. I feel broken. And I can’t even confront him again. Because now, I know the truth — and it’s tearing me apart.
