Veteran Nollywood actor Ganiu Nafiu, popularly known as Alapini, has opened up about a shocking spiritual battle that left him weak, sleepless, and nearly paralyzed for an entire year.

In a deeply emotional interview on Kola Olootu TV (August 16, 2025), the legendary actor revealed that his mysterious sickness started immediately after he coordinated a program among herbalists.

“At one point in my life, I fell very sick. I went to coordinate a program among some herbalists, and the sickness started early in the morning after the program ended. I was attacked spiritually. I couldn’t sleep for one year, and I couldn’t stand up from a chair.”
