White Sheet from Jerry Boshoga Ransom Video Seized at Cat Matlala’s Home, Reportedly Linking Him

In a shocking twist at the Madlanga Commission, investigators have reportedly uncovered forensic evidence directly linking alleged underworld boss Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala to the mysterious kidnapping of Pretoria businessman, Jerry Boshoga — a case that has haunted South Africa for almost a year.

The biggest breakthrough came from a torn white sheet found hanging in one of Matlala’s mansion windows — a sheet that investigators say perfectly matches the one seen in the terrifying ransom videos sent to Boshoga’s family.

According to testimony from Witness C, a top investigator who led the raid, the discovery was no coincidence. “That white sheet is distinctive — torn, tied to the window, exactly like the one in the video where Boshoga was pleading for his life,” he told the commission.

The discovery was made after a Special Task Force stormed Matlala’s luxurious Pretoria home in December 2024. Although the missing businessman was not found, police reportedly arrested two of Matlala’s guards and a Malawian worker, while seizing illegal firearms, documents, and suspicious materials believed to be linked to organized crime.

“You wouldn’t expect that kind of curtain in a mansion,” the investigator said — hinting that the white sheet may have been used as a disguise during the hostage recordings.

Boshoga, a respected entrepreneur, was kidnapped last November while heading to a business meeting. His distraught family later received multiple ransom videos showing him bound and begging for help, as his captors demanded millions of rands for his release.

Almost a year later, he remains missing, and his family continues to hold on to hope.

Police believe the evidence now paints a clearer picture of what may have happened — and possibly, where he was held. Authorities are now expanding the probe into what they suspect is part of a larger kidnapping syndicate operating across Gauteng.

As the Commission continues, South Africans are calling for justice — and for answers that could finally bring peace to the Boshoga family. Read Original
