It’s a rugby bonanza: Can Boks make it three in a row?
There are six Test matches taking place this weekend, with the Boks in action in Turin.
There are six blockbuster Test matches taking place in Europe this weekend, with England’s clash against New Zealand possibly the biggest of them all, but Ireland against Australia is also a big one as is Scotland against Argentina.
The Springboks are up against Italy and looking for their third straight win on tour up north this month after previously beating Japan and France. They also have matches against Ireland and Wales to come.
Let’s focus on the Boks first, who clash with Italy at 2.40pm Saturday.
Despite all the talk of Italy showing great improvement and coming into the game on the back of beating the Wallabies last weekend, the Boks are still big favourites to win, at 1.05. This is irrespective of the team selected by coach Rassie Erasmus, which is much-changed from last week against France.
Italy are 12.00 to beat the world champions, while a draw is 60.00.
England (1.89) are surprise favourites against New Zealand (2.07) with the game kicking off at 5.10pm, though there’s not much in it to be honest. This one can go either way.
Wales and Japan at 7.40pm should be a cracker and Eddie Jones will feel his Japanese side should be in with a good shout such is the form of Wales at the moment, though Betway have the hosts at 1.21 to win, with Japan at only 5.20.
Ireland (1.17) are tipped to be too strong for the Wallabies at 10.10pm and it’s easy to see why after the Australians fell to Italy last week. The Wallabies are at 6.00 to win.
France (1.04) are the obvious favourites to get the better of Fiji (14.00), also at 10.10pm, while in the only match on Sunday at 5.10pm, Scotland (1.65) will fancy their chances against Argentina (2.49), though the visitors are known to pull off shock wins when least expected.
All odds correct at time of writing and subject to change.
