“My Two Children Were Buried And Husband Remarried While I Was In Hospital, Because Of This” Woman Recounts

A shocking story of a woman who received the surprise of her life while recovering in a hospital after her husband remarried during her recovery period has been making rounds on social media in Nigeria.

Amina Abdullahi, a resident of Maraba, Nasarawa State, shared her heart-wrenching story with an investigative journalist, Monica Adewole, where she narrated her ordeal. She explained that she had been married for 15 years and was blessed with four children. However, her life took a drastic turn after attending a family reunion in Kano State with two of her children.

On their journey back to Abuja, the bus they boarded was involved in a tragic accident as the driver attempted to overtake recklessly. The bus veered off the road, tumbling multiple times before plunging into a nearby river. Over 20 passengers lost their lives, including five members of Amina’s family, two of whom were her children.

Amina regained consciousness in a hospital in Abuja, only to realize her husband had not visited her throughout her stay. Later, she was transferred to National Orthopedic Hospital in Lagos for further treatment.

During her six-month hospitalization, her two children who perished in the accident were buried without her knowledge. Tragically, she was not informed of their deaths until her discharge.

Upon returning to her marital home, Amina noticed two fresh graves in the compound. Before she could approach them, her husband confronted her, questioning why she had returned, as she was now “disabled.” To her dismay, her children revealed that their father had remarried while she was hospitalized, bringing another woman into their home to care for them.
