Super Falcons vs Cameroon Friendly Match Rescheduled Again

The international friendly between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2025, with kickoff at 4:00 PM (Nigerian time).

Initially set for Saturday at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, the game was first postponed to Monday due to the late arrival of the Cameroonian delegation. However, CAF did not approve the revised Monday date, causing further delay.

In a statement shared via the official Super Falcons X handle, the Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that the match will now take place at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex, Abeokuta.

“Our friendly against Cameroon will now hold on Tuesday, June 3 at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex, Abeokuta, following late request from FECAFOOT and CAF’s approval,” the team posted.

The match is part of both countries’ preparations ahead of key international tournaments and will offer fans a preview of each squad’s form and tactical adjustments.

This marks a rare top-level women’s international match in Abeokuta, promising football fans an exciting showdown between two of Africa’s strongest female teams.
