Family in Shock After Young Woman Loses Vital Organs in Alleged Ritual Killing
A tragic story has emerged of how a young woman named Melissa fell victim to a deadly scam after meeting a foreign man online. The man, identified only as Cyrille D., allegedly lured Melissa into a fake romance that ended in a horrific crime that still haunts her family.
Melissa, who came from a poor family, thought she had found the love of her life when she met Cyrille D. on a dating site. At first, he treated her like a queenâtaking her on trips across the country, renting her a luxurious apartment with air conditioning, filling her bank account with money, and showering her with the latest home appliances.
âFor Melissa, this was a dream come true,â her aunt shared. âShe went from never shopping in supermarkets to doing so every week.â
After just three months of dating, Melissa called her family to invite them to her traditional wedding. Although some family members could not attend, those who did described a lavish ceremony.
Melissaâs uncle, a policeman, was suspicious and wanted to meet Cyrille D. in person, but the white man kept delaying, claiming he was busy. âHe was already panicking,â her aunt said. âHe pressured Melissa into undergoing surgery, claiming she needed to remove fibroids.â
The operation took place at a small clinic in town. But instead of removing fibroids, the doctorsâallegedly working with Cyrilleâremoved Melissaâs uterus, both kidneys, liver, appendix, and even part of her neck.
âWhen the family arrived to collect the body, the hospital gave them money to quickly take the body awayâsomething that never happens,â the aunt explained. âNormally, hospitals ask for payment before releasing a body, but this time, they paid us to leave.â
The family, still in shock, took the body to the morgue, only to discover the full extent of the horror: Melissaâs body was empty. âThere wasnât even a drop of blood left,â the aunt cried. âThey took everythingâher vital organs were all gone.â
Despite the familyâs desperate efforts, they couldnât find out what really happened or get justice for Melissa. âShe paid the ultimate price for the eight months of luxury Cyrille gave her,â her aunt said. âWe laid her to rest, but we are still in shock.â
The family is now warning young women to be cautious of strangers online. âLadies, please be careful. Let Melissaâs story be a warning that everything that glitters is not gold,â the aunt concluded.
