Manchester City Officially Sign Rayan Aït‑Nouri from Wolves
Manchester City have officially signed Algerian left-back Rayan Aït‑Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a five‑year contract, securing his services until June 2030.
The 24-year-old joins the Citizens ahead of their Club World Cup campaign in the USA. Though City didn’t disclose the fee, British media reports suggest an initial £31 million, potentially rising to around £36.3 million through add‑ons.Aït‑Nouri was a standout performer at Wolves last season, featuring in 37 of 38 Premier League matches and contributing four goals and seven assists.
He said joining City is a “dream come true,” and expressed excitement to learn under Pep Guardiola.
Director of Football Hugo Viana described Aït-Nouri as “a player we have been following closely,” praising his experience in the Premier League and internationally.
With this signing, City strengthens its left-back position and finalizes a key move ahead of their first fixture at the Club World Cup against Wydad AC on June 18
