Shakira Makes History Again: Adds More Shows to Record-Breaking Mexico Tour
International pop icon Shakira has once again made headlines — this time for shattering her own record in Mexico!
The Hips Don’t Lie singer just announced two additional dates for the second leg of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, bringing her total scheduled performances in Mexico to a jaw-dropping 28 shows — more than any artist has ever done in a single tour cycle in the country.
The new stops include:
-
September 18 – Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City
-
September 24 – Estadio Luis Pirata Fuente, Veracruz (marking her debut in the city)
According to concert promoter OCESA, this milestone officially places Shakira as the artist with the most performances at Estadio GNP Seguros.
“With the announcement of this new date, the Colombian singer solidifies herself as the artist with the most concerts at the iconic Estadio GNP Seguros,” OCESA said in a statement.

Her world tour, which kicked off on February 11 in Rio de Janeiro, is set to wrap up on November 16 in Lima, Peru — but it’s already becoming one of the most celebrated concert runs of her career.
With sold-out arenas and heartfelt tributes from fans worldwide, Shakira continues to prove she’s not just a performer — she’s a global phenomenon.
