Israel In Worse Shape Than People Think – Douglas Macgregor Claims 1 in 3 of Tel Aviv Damaged

Retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor has triggered global concern with a chilling update on Israel’s condition amid its ongoing conflict with Iran and regional militias. In a post made on his verified Twitter account, the former senior Pentagon adviser claimed the scale of destruction in Israel is being underreported.

“Don’t be fooled, Israel is in worse shape than people think,” Macgregor warned.

According to him, around one-third of Tel Aviv has been damaged or destroyed—a statement that, if verified, points to one of the most significant blows to Israeli infrastructure in recent history.

This is particularly alarming as Tel Aviv, Israel’s economic and cultural center, has not been widely recognized as a major target in recent strikes, leading to serious questions about what is not being reported to the public.

Macgregor didn’t stop there.

“I’m told many Israeli aircrafts are being flown to Cyprus to avoid being struck,” he said, suggesting that Israeli air power is being repositioned due to vulnerabilities at home.

He concluded with a strong statement:

“Israel was not prepared for Iran’s response.”

The retired colonel’s analysis has ignited widespread online debate, with many now questioning the transparency of media coverage and the real state of Israel’s military readiness.

So far, Israeli officials have not publicly confirmed or denied these claims, but the gravity of Macgregor’s remarks continues to fuel speculation about the broader geopolitical implications of the ongoing war.
