Breaking: Iran Speaks Out As US Attacks Country Amid Battle With Israel, ‘Everlasting Consequences’

Tehran, Iran – As global tensions spiral following a joint military escalation between Israel and Iran, the United States’ airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites have drawn a fierce response from Tehran, with the country’s foreign minister vowing that the attacks will have “everlasting consequences.”

The strikes—confirmed by U.S. President Donald Trump—reportedly targeted Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz, all major components of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. Trump described the operation as a decisive move to dismantle Iran’s enrichment capabilities and issued a stern warning: more strikes could follow if Iran refuses to “make peace.”

Iran’s Foreign Minister Fires Back

Responding swiftly on X (formerly Twitter), Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi condemned the attacks, accusing the U.S. of violating international law and the UN Charter.

“The United States, a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, has committed a grave violation of the UN Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) by attacking Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities,” Araqchi wrote.

Calling the airstrikes “outrageous” and “criminal,” he urged the global community to take notice of what he described as lawless aggression.

Iran Reserves the Right to Respond

Araqchi emphasized Iran’s right to self-defense, saying:

“In accordance with the UN Charter, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interests, and its people.”

This statement, widely viewed as a potential signal of military retaliation, comes as world leaders urge restraint to prevent the regional crisis from spiraling into full-scale war.

Meanwhile, international watchdogs and UN allies are scrambling to assess the fallout, both literal and diplomatic, from the unprecedented U.S. strikes.
