Israel Orders 1,000 Families To Flee Gaza School Compound at 2am Then Bombs Shelter Moments Later

According to a NewsVista report, tragedy struck the Sheikh Radwan area of Gaza City after Israeli forces bombed a school sheltering over 1,000 displaced families—just moments after issuing a chilling 2 a.m. evacuation warning.

Survivors of the strike shared heartbreaking accounts of fear and confusion. Hamada Abu Jaradeh, who managed to escape, said, “The old people, the children and women got scared, and the Israelis hit the school after that.” The warning gave them only minutes to flee in the dead of night.

Amnaa Garosha, another survivor, described the chaos: “We were sleeping, and someone came to tell us we had five minutes before the school would be targeted. We ran without our belongings. A few minutes later, the catastrophe happened.”

Palestinian health officials reported dozens of casualties, including many women and children. The Israeli military claimed militants were using the site, a charge local authorities have strongly denied.

This strike is one of many recent attacks on civilian shelters across Gaza, deepening the already dire humanitarian crisis. With schools and hospitals under fire, families are left with nowhere safe to turn. “Death is with us and around us every day,” said Abu Jaradeh.

The international community has continued to call for the protection of civilians, but for Gaza’s displaced, each night remains a nightmare with no end in sight.
