Galatasaray and Napoli Reach Verbal Agreement for €75M Osimhen Transfer
Galatasaray have submitted an improved offer to Napoli for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, with both clubs reportedly reaching a verbal agreement on a €75 million transfer deal, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
After Napoli rejected Galatasaray’s initial €70 million bid, the Turkish champions returned with a revised proposal: €40 million upfront in cash and €35 million in instalments over a three-year period
In a key development, Galatasaray have also agreed to provide a formal bank guarantee to secure the instalment payments — one of Napoli’s primary conditions for greenlighting the deal.
Osimhen Chooses Turkey Over Saudi Millions
Osimhen, 26, reportedly turned down a more lucrative offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, choosing instead to return to Galatasaray, where he spent last season on loan.
The Nigerian international scored 26 league goals during his loan spell, spearheading Galatasaray’s domestic double and establishing himself as a fan favorite.
Next Steps: Medical in Istanbul
Should Napoli approve the financial guarantees after internal review, Osimhen is expected to travel to Istanbul for a medical ahead of completing the move.
His permanent return would serve as a major boost for Galatasaray’s title defense and Champions League campaign, following their disappointing Europa League exit last season.
Final confirmation of the transfer is still pending Napoli’s official sign-off on the submitted bank documents, but all signs point to Osimhen’s high-profile switch being sealed in the coming days.
