2027 Election: Primate Ayodele Sends Fresh Warning Message to Tinubu Over Second Term Ambition
According to a NewsVista reporter, popular Lagos-based prophet Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a spiritual warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a statement released on Saturday, July 12, the founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church said Tinubu’s second-term bid could face serious disruption — through insecurity, allegedly orchestrated by people within his own government.
“Let him be careful. They will use insecurity to fight his re-election plans. Some people within the villa, the military, and security agencies are part of the problem,” Ayodele said.
The prophet also warned Tinubu against certain appointments and allowing defectors from other parties to flood the APC. He advised that a better engagement with Nigerian youths and a strategic approach to governance are needed to avoid looming political challenges.
“There’s still hardship in the land. Reducing commodity prices and managing youth expectations will be key,” he added.
2027 Power Shift Concerns
Meanwhile, political commentator and activist Deji Adeyanju has also weighed in on the 2027 elections. He warned that if Tinubu secures another term, power may not return to the South for the next 12 years.
“If a northern candidate wins in 2027, it could take 8 years to come back to the South. If Tinubu wins, make it 12 years,” Adeyanju posted on Facebook.
He urged southern candidates in the ADC-led opposition coalition to form a united front this time, unlike the 2023 PDP primaries, where internal disunity led to defeat.
As 2027 draws closer, it seems both spiritual and political voices agree on one thing: the game is far from ordinary.
