We Buried My Sister — Then I Got a 1AM Voice Note of Her Crying

According to a NewsVista reporter, a chilling story has emerged from Kogi State involving a woman who may have been buried alive — or worse, sold into a ritual shrine under the guise of death.

Aisha had fallen mysteriously ill — sudden fever, weakness, and unconsciousness — and was rushed to a local hospital. Just hours later, doctors declared her dead, blaming it on a “spiritual attack.” A death certificate was issued, and her family proceeded with a quick burial, following cultural rites.

But two weeks later, the unimaginable happened.

At exactly 1:23am, Aisha’s brother received a WhatsApp message from an unknown number. It was a voice note.

He pressed play — and froze.

It was Aisha’s voice, crying and whispering, “Please help me… they locked me here… I don’t want to die like this…”

He replayed it in disbelief. Same voice. Same tone. Shaky, but unmistakably hers.

Attempts to call the number failed — it was switched off. The doctor who treated Aisha had reportedly relocated, and his contacts went cold. Even more disturbing: a visit to the grave revealed that the coffin had been replaced with cement blocks.

A former hospital staff later whispered the truth: some women declared “dead” were being trafficked from the hospital to ritual shrines, especially those hovering between life and death.

Till today, Aisha’s whereabouts remain unknown.

And every night at 1am… strange missed calls still come in — no caller ID, no sound… just silence.
