“He Made Me Lick His Palm Every Morning” — Lady Shares Chilling Experience with Alleged Yahoo Boy in Lagos
According to NewsVista reporters, a young woman seeking a fresh start in Lagos ended up narrowly escaping what she now believes was a spiritual trap disguised as generosity.
She had just arrived in the city when she met Jerry — soft-spoken, stylish, and swimming in cash. He offered her a place to stay in his sleek apartment until she could “stand on her own.”
But by the second week, things turned strange.
He began waking up at odd hours, chanting in Yoruba mixed with a language she couldn’t place. Then came the request:
“Lick my palm every morning before sunrise. It’s for your protection.”
Out of fear and confusion, she obeyed. For six mornings straight, she followed the odd ritual.
Then the nightmares started.
Snakes. Fire. Blood. Laughing while standing in flames. She knew something wasn’t right.
On the seventh day, while changing her bedsheet, she felt something unusual in her pillow. What she found nearly stopped her heart — a black ring, feathers, and her passport photo, tightly folded inside nylon.
Jerry was out. She ran and never looked back.
Now, she’s hiding in a church member’s boys’ quarters — still cold at night despite thick blankets, still shaken.
As she told NewsVista:
“Not every helping hand is human. Some want your soul — not your success.”
