“You Should’ve Been the One to Die” — VeryDarkMan Sparks Outrage with Explosive Attack on Tinubu
According to a NewsVista reporter, popular online activist VeryDarkMan has stirred massive controversy following a viral video where he lashed out at President Bola Tinubu, making deeply provocative remarks that have shaken social media.
In the video, VeryDarkMan bluntly stated that many Nigerians would have preferred President Tinubu had passed away instead of the late Muhammadu Buhari. He linked this shocking statement to the rising hardship in the country, accusing the Tinubu-led government of worsening economic conditions. “Even those who once cursed Buhari now miss him,” he added.
He went further to claim that the level of suffering under Tinubu’s administration has become unbearable, branding it a “double hardship era” and warning that the president risks being remembered as the worst in Nigeria’s history if urgent changes aren’t made.
The video quickly exploded online, drawing a mix of support and backlash. While some Nigerians say VeryDarkMan simply voiced the growing anger of citizens battling inflation, fuel hikes, and daily struggles, others slammed the clip as hate speech, saying it crossed the line into dangerous territory.
Legal observers have also raised alarms, noting that his statements might fall under defamation or incitement, both of which could trigger legal action under Nigeria’s cybercrime laws. So far, the presidency has remained silent, and the video remains live on his social media pages.
