Dangote Breaks Into World’s Top 100 Richest — See His New Ranking

According to NewsVista business reporters, Nigeria’s own Aliko Dangote has climbed higher on the global billionaire ladder—now ranked as the 89th richest person in the world with a net worth of $24.1 billion, as revealed by Forbes in its latest update.

Dangote, who heads Africa’s largest refinery and cement empire, has doubled his wealth in just months—moving from $11.5 billion and 199th place at the start of 2025 to his new position among the world’s elite billionaires.

Other Nigerian billionaires on the list include:

  • Mike Adenuga (Globacom): $6.3B – Rank 581

  • Abdulsamad Rabiu (BUA Group): $5.8B – Rank 636

  • Femi Otedola (Geregu Power): $1.5B – Rank 2,382

Globally, Elon Musk still holds the crown with $413.2 billion, followed by Larry Ellison and Mark Zuckerberg. Surprisingly, Jeff Bezos has slipped to fourth place, while Bill Gates is now out of the top 10 entirely.

Dangote has also hinted at bold plans to turn Africa into a “heaven” within five years, projecting $30 billion in revenue for his company by next year and aiming to become the world’s largest urea exporter, surpassing Qatar.

The billionaire’s rise is not just about money—it’s about ambition, strategy, and vision. And the world is taking notice.
