Man Dies While Fleeing After Alleged Assault on Female Friend — Community Calls It ‘Instant Justice’

A tragic incident in Ngogo, KwaZulu-Natal, has left residents in shock after a 27-year-old man reportedly lost his life while fleeing from a crime scene.

According to local reports, the man, identified as Ernest Mduduzi Ntanzi, allegedly attacked his female friend in her home on Saturday night. Neighbours, alerted by distress calls, quickly mobilized to help the victim.

In a desperate attempt to escape, Ernest reportedly jumped out through a window and ran into the road — only to be hit by a speeding truck moments later. He died instantly at the scene.

Police confirmed that investigations are ongoing, while the victim is receiving medical and emotional support.
