Angry Man Shots A Man Allegedly Involved With His Wife And Then Shot Himself On The Head, In Limpopo
A quiet community in Lulekani, Limpopo, was left in shock after a domestic dispute turned deadly on October 4, 2025. Police say a man shot another man he suspected of having an affair with his wife before turning the gun on himself. Both men died at the scene, leaving families and neighbours devastated.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect confronted the victim in broad daylight following months of tension over an alleged relationship. During the heated exchange, the man reportedly drew his licensed firearm and opened fire, hitting the victim several times. Moments later, overwhelmed by despair, he shot himself in the head before help could arrive.
Police quickly secured the scene and launched an investigation into the firearm’s ownership and any prior reports of domestic conflict. Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe described the incident as “a heartbreaking reminder of how anger can destroy lives in an instant.” The deceased man’s wife, who was unharmed, is said to be receiving trauma counseling.
Officials noted that domestic violence and jealousy-related killings remain a serious concern across Limpopo. Experts warn that emotional distress, economic hardship, and easy access to weapons often contribute to such tragedies. Community leaders are urging couples to seek mediation and professional help before disputes escalate into irreversible loss.
