Retired P0rn star Asia Carrera passes Texas Bar exam to become a lawyer

Asia Carrera has passed the Texas bar exam, marking a major career shift as she moves closer to becoming a licensed lawyer.

Carrera, born Jessica Steinhauser, announced the achievement on Facebook after sitting the notoriously challenging exam in February. Records confirm she has been listed under her birth name with State Bar of Texas among those admitted.

The retired p0rn star previously revealed she took the exam for a second time in Waco, where nearly 1,000 candidates gathered to sit the test. She noted that she had narrowly missed passing on her first attempt by just two points but felt far more prepared this time.

 

Interestingly, Carrera said her motivation was not necessarily to practise law, but to prove she could pass the exam.

Beyond her entertainment career, she has long been known for her academic ability. She is a member of Mensa, reportedly with a high IQ, and already holds a master’s degree in education. With the bar now passed, she is eligible to begin practising law, should she choose to pursue the profession.
